Kicksledding is an excellent substitute to cross-country skiing for those seeking a little more stability on snow or ice. We’ll teach you how to use a kicksled in a matter of minutes. Then off you go to Arrow Head Trail.

Whether a novice, intermediate or advanced skier, enjoy a cross country ski adventure at the historical Whitecap Dakota Nation. Access is free, but please check-in at the Adventures Desk or with the Front Desk Staff.

Snowshoes are footwear that help distribute the weight of a person while walking over deep snow. In the past, Indigenous peoples used snowshoes for winter travel in Canada. Visit the front desk to reserve your snowshoes.
Our snowshoes make snowshoeing through the deepest snow a breeze. All snowshoe rentals require a credit card security deposit.
